Shipping & Returns

Because festive fashion waits for no one (but shipping kinda does).

At UglySweaters.com, many of the items in our shop are made just for you: printed or knitted to order once you place your order. We do this to reduce waste and maximize glorious chaos. Here’s what you need to know about when you’ll get your sweater and what to do if something’s not quite right.

📦 How Long Does Shipping Take?

Production time (printed items): 3–7 business days
Production time (knitted designs): about 2 weeks, every piece is knitted to order
Shipping time (on average):

  • USA: 3–4 business days

  • Europe: 6–8 business days

  • Australia: 2–14 business days

  • Japan: 4–8 business days

  • Everywhere else: 10–20 business days

Translation: printed orders usually arrive in 7–14 business days, depending on where you are and how snappy the elves are feeling. Knits take a little longer because every stitch happens after you order.

We work with production partners who ship from locations closest to you. So while your sweater may look like it came from the North Pole, it probably didn’t. 😉

Possibly. Some international orders may have customs or tax fees charged by your country’s postal service or government. We can’t predict them, and unfortunately, they’re not covered by us.

If your item arrives misprinted, damaged, or just totally wrong, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it. Include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the issue

  • A brief description of what happened

We’ll sort it out and either replace the item or issue a refund.

We don’t offer returns or size exchanges unless there’s a defect. Why? Because each product is made to order, it doesn’t exist until you say “I want that.”

Here’s the breakdown:

  • ❌ No returns for buyer’s remorse

  • ❌ No exchanges for size or color

  • ✅ We will replace or refund defective or incorrect items

  • ✅ If your item is lost in the mail and the address was correct, we’ve got you covered

Not sure which size to order? Check the size chart on each product page! If you’re between sizes or like things extra cozy (aka: snack-space friendly), we recommend sizing up.

First, double-check your:

  • Shipping confirmation email (typos happen!)

  • Local post office

  • Neighbors (seriously, it happens more than you’d think)

Still nothing? Contact us with your order number and we’ll help figure it out.
