A sleepy black bird of a fan out in the snow for the big game, in a purple-and-black striped pom-pom beanie, a purple scarf and a cream sweater with a small reindeer, one blank purple foam hand raised high. The winter scene runs edge to edge across the front: a floodlit stadium, snowy pines and fresh snow under a purple night sky. Knitted at full ugly-Christmas density: a black snowflake yoke on cream over a purple diamond row, and a marching band of little black birds with cream wings and gold beaks on purple above the black hem. The back carries a big cream snowflake medallion with a gold centre on the purple field, with the same birds marching below. Purple and black from collar to cuff, for the fan whose whole December is one long countdown to kickoff.
