A stone-faced wombat of a fan out in the snow for the big game, in a green pom-pom beanie, a green-and-gold striped scarf and a navy sweater with a small reindeer, one finger raised high. The winter scene runs edge to edge across the front: a floodlit stadium, snowy pines and fresh snow. Knitted at full ugly-Christmas density: a cream snowflake yoke over green and white peeries, and a marching band of round little white birds in green scarves above the green hem. The back carries a big cream snowflake medallion on the navy field, with the same birds marching below. Navy and green from collar to cuff, for the fan whose whole December is one long countdown to kickoff.
