Do both halves have to be the same size?

No, and they rarely are. Pick a size for each person at checkout; the set is priced per pair, not per size.

How much does a set save?

Between $6 and $25 depending on the pairing. A $49.99 tee set is $55.98 bought separately, and a $199 human-and-dog knitted set is $224 apart.

When do matching sets close for Christmas?

Any set containing a knitted item closes November 15. Printed sets run to December 11 in the USA.
