A sleepy-eyed wombat of a fan out in the snow for the big game, in a red-and-black striped pom-pom beanie, a red-and-black striped scarf and a charcoal sweater with a small gold reindeer, one blank red foam hand raised high. The winter scene runs edge to edge across the front: a floodlit stadium, snowy pines and fresh snow under a warm red sky. Knitted at full ugly-Christmas density: a charcoal yoke of cream snowflakes over a cream zigzag on red, and a marching band of round little black birds in red scarves above the black hem. The back carries a big cream snowflake medallion on the red field, with the same birds marching below. Red and black from collar to cuff, for the fan whose whole December is one long countdown to kickoff.
