Is he qualified for Christmas? No. Is he koalafied? Somehow, yes. Day six of our design-story series belongs to the most Australian overachiever in the 2026 Festive Folks line: a koala who has been handed the entire festive season to organize and is coping with it the way koalas cope with everything, which is barely, and with great dignity.

The koala holding it all together
Every household has one person who is technically in charge of Christmas. Not officially appointed, never formally trained, but somehow the one holding the list, the schedule, the oven timings and the emotional weather of four generations. They are tired. They are managing. They would prefer nobody look too closely.
Here is that person as a koala. He stands mid-preparation, arms full of eucalyptus branches and string lights, a red party hat sliding off one ear, wearing the expression of someone who stopped reading their emails in November and has made peace with the consequences. On either side of him, two small carolers in red wait patiently for direction. The koala has no direction to give. The koala is the direction.
He wears a deep red knit with gold zigzag and diamond bands and proper green ribbed trim, festive enough to pass any dress code, rumpled enough to be honest. The pun does the heavy lifting, as the best puns do: qualified, no; koalafied, unfortunately for him, completely.
This is also the most us design in the line. We are an Australian brand selling the northern hemisphere its favorite winter garment, and the koala is our licensed representative: an animal no US sweater company can claim, doing Christmas the way half the planet does it, slightly overheated and fully committed.
The Ugly Rating: 5 out of 10
Our Chief Festivity Officer emerged briefly from his hot spring to assess a fellow marsupial-adjacent professional and delivered a 5 out of 10: hanging on by one paw.
The CFO’s notes praise the eucalyptus-and-snowflake border concept, the gold detailing, and the koala’s “sustainable approach to effort.” He recognized the party hat as a cry for help and scored it as festive commitment anyway. A middle rating from the capybara is a compliment with layers: ugly enough to count, composed enough to wear to the office, tired enough to be true.
What Koalafied comes as
Koalafied comes in four printed forms, every one made to order in the US, with one flat price per form in every size. There is no knitted Koalafied: our knitted range is the traditional fair-isle line, so the Koalafied forms stay orderable until December 11 for Christmas delivery, long after the knit cutoff.
For the rest of the household: the kids tee at $24.99 in youth sizes, the toddler tee at $21.99 in 2T to 5T, and the couples tee set at $49.99 for two.
How to catch the drop
Now. Every Koalafied form is live in the shop, printed to order in the US with a flat price in every size. Order by December 11 for Christmas delivery in the US, and join the VIP list to hear about new designs first. Shopping early? Why July is secretly the best month to order makes the case.
Who to give him to
The Koalafied has one perfect recipient, and every household contains them: the person who runs Christmas. Not the loudest person, and rarely the one in the photos. The one with the spreadsheet. The one who knows which cousin is vegetarian this year and where the good scissors went. Handing them this koala says three things at once: we see the work, we find you slightly funny, and we are aware you never applied for this job. It is gratitude disguised as a joke, which is the only format the person who runs Christmas will accept gratitude in.
The details reward the second look. His red knit carries gold zigzag bands and scattered snow-dot stitching, with deep green ribbing at the collar and cuffs doing the tidy structural work. The party hat sits at the angle of a long shift. The eucalyptus branches he is wrestling double as tree decoration and lunch, which is the most efficient thing any Australian has ever done in December. And the two little carolers flanking him wait with the patience of children who have learned that the koala cannot be hurried. Nobody can. He is management.

FAQ
When can I buy the Koalafied sweater?
Now. Every form is live in the shop, and the VIP list hears about new designs first.
What forms and prices does Koalafied come in?
All-over-print sweatshirt $79.99, tee $27.99, kids tee $24.99, toddler tee $21.99, couples sweatshirt set $144.99 and couples tee set $49.99. Every form is one flat price across all sizes, and every one is printed to order in the US.
What is the knit cutoff for Christmas?

Is this a good sweater for an Australian Christmas?
It is the sweater for an Australian Christmas. Wear the tee to the actual 38-degree day and the sweatshirt to July celebrations, and consult our guide to what to wear to a Christmas in July party for the full southern-hemisphere playbook.
Why “koalafied” and not “qualified”?
Because one of those words has a koala in it, and we sell sweaters, and this concludes the hiring interview.
The Festive Folks’ Verdict
Koalafied is for everyone technically holding it together: the list-keepers, the oven-timers, the family project managers who never applied for the role. He carries the pun, the party hat, and the entire logistical weight of December, all while clinging on with the exact number of paws required. Now that he is in the shop, give him to the person who runs your Christmas, or claim him yourself. You have the experience. Nobody checked the qualifications anyway.
