Five little Selbu birds march across the chest in a straight line, the most organised thing at the party. Black and bone Norwegian knitting with grey diamonds, red hearts, snowflakes and a row of Selbu stars. This is the kids’ version of our Selbu Bird knit: a real jacquard sweater, knitted to order by our custom knit program in black, bone, chili red and grey yarn.
The back carries a band of Selbu stars where the birds sit on the front. Each size is charted on its own stitch grid, so the pattern sits whole and centred on a 4-5 and on a 13-14 alike.
