A sloth, a menorah, and eight nights to fill

Hanukkah knitwear barely exists, and what does exist is usually a blue jumper with a dreidel on it and no joke attached. This one starts from the festival itself: eight nights, one candle at a time, deliberately unhurried. Give that to the slowest animal in the cast and the design writes itself.

The palette leaves the red and green behind entirely. Deep blue and cream, silver-white candle flames, small gold dreidels and a band of dreidels and candles along the hem, with the same snowflake yoke the rest of the cast wears so it still belongs to the range.

Printed edge to edge, so the blue field and the dreidels carry over the shoulders and down both sleeves. The sloth was drawn as stitches first, which is why the flames read as knitting rather than as a photograph laid on top.
